2022 Lenten Photo-a-day Challenge Week 6: April 5 -11

Only questions with the photos this week.

TUESDAY, APRIL 5: BRING

When you bring your offering before the Lord, do you do it with a joyful heart? Are you willing to share with others who are in need out of your own lack sometimes? What have you done lately that stretched your generosity muscles?

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 6: NEEDS

Can you recognize the difference between your wants and genuine needs?  Do you ever confuse the two? What are some approaches to get your needs met in healthy, appropriate ways?

THURSDAY, APRIL 7: BLESSED

Do you catch yourself complaining too often? Has anyone ever told you you’re a negative person? How can you consciously include ways to express gratitude more often, both to other people and to God?

FRIDAY, APRIL 8: PEACE

Do you remember the little chorus, “I’ve got peace like a river?” Where do you go to find peace? How would you describe that feeling of peace “in my soul” to someone else?

SATURDAY, APRIL 9: SILENT

How long can you keep your mouth shut? Could you last all day without saying a word?  How would you fare on a “silent weekend retreat?” Or do you think you could do what Jesus did when he was silent before his accusers, knowing he was innocent of the charges against him?

PALM SUNDAY, APRIL 10: CELEBRATE

If you are celebrating something, what would we see you doing? What are your favorite things to include in a celebration?

MONDAY, APRIL 11: PREPARED

Have you ever gone somewhere where your host was not prepared for your arrival? Awkward for both of you? Alternatively, how does it make you feel when you are greeted joyfully and lavishly welcomed with generous preparations?

Shalom, Dottie
